Bachata is a joyful and easy to learn dance from the Dominican Republic.
Perfect for beginners as well as experienced dancers who want to expand their range.
In our weekly classes you will not only learn how to dance Bachata Dominicana (e.g. steps and figures).
We also support you in becoming a confident and happy dancer. Learn to move your body, connect with a dance partner, listen to the music and develop your personal style.
Class Structure
Each class starts with 1/2h dancing solo. Here we focus on developing your bodymovement, footwork, styling and musical understanding.
We then partner up for 1h and learn different elements (e.g. steps, turns, rotations) and how to combine and apply them in social dancing.
Languages: German & English
Rotation, Leading & Following
We rotate during the class so you can join us with or without a dance partner. You can also decide whether you want to lead or follow.
Supportive Community
Become part of a welcoming dance community, where we focus on supporting each other and enjoying the time together, regardless of our abilities & backgrounds.
Expand your Dominican Bachata skills with intermediate steps, figures, body movements and music knowledge.
You will be able to form more complex combinations, dance on different timings & instruments, add hip-movements and footwork to suit your style and connect with your dance partner througout a song.
Take the next step and book a free trial class for a Thursday evening. The semester has already started, but with our drop-in cards you can also join later during the semester.
